Unit 3 Comp II - Online learning

Well I think I made two different blogs on accident. I will try and stick to this one. This is my first year at Kaplan and I have never had online learning before. It has it's up's and down's. I really like the convenience of it but I hate it when I have computer issues. I have been able to meet a lot of people from all over the world and hear their opinions of things as I learn. This way of learning is different but pretty cool. :) One thing I think would be neat is if everyone were assigned a friend. I know there are study buddies and chat rooms if you need help but I feel it would be nice to be assigned to a specific person for each term. Sometimes I just feel it is nice to be able to get to know one person well enough so you do not have to decide among so many class mates which one to contact if you need help or want to study. Does anyone else feel this way? I just feel sometimes overwhelmed with all the students that I can not remember who is who. If I got to know one person well then I would remember them more and remember who it was I had conversation with and probablly contact them again. I do however like meeting so many people and hearing from so many different opinions.

Unit 2 Comp II

Well looks like I made it through the first unit ok now 9 more to go. So far I am trying to come up with my final choice of a topic to write my research paper on. This has been kinda hard to finalize. I am interested in to many subjects i guess :). I hope everyone has a great 10 weeks in this class and I hope to get to know everyone on the discussion board, in seminar, and in out blog posts.
